Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Greetings from Taipei, Taiwan.

Every year, there are hundreds of international outstanding students coming to study at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech), Taipei, Taiwan, participating in cutting-edge research both in MS and PhD programs. In the year of 2015, Taiwan Tech as the best Technological University in Taiwan is ranked No. 1 in the number of international degree students among all the universities in Taiwan. Despite of the success, we still have a strong desire to continue pursuing the growth of outstanding international students, both for the future of the students and prosperity of the South-East Asia region.

Therefore, we would like to announce the following two good news to invite more excellent students to study at Taiwan Tech.

  1. We no longer require students from Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia to authenticate their diploma, transcript, financial statement, and certificate of health and accidental insurance in the Taiwan embassy before they register at Taiwan Tech. This greatly saves students time and money to come to Taiwan Tech.
  2. The Office of International Affairs will increase the quotas on English-taught Program scholarship in the fall semester of 2016.

I will be grateful if you can help promote this information and encourage students to apply to study at Taiwan Tech.
